I offer a beautiful forest land adjacent to a flooded quarry with swimming (about 50 meters from the campsite). The site is located on the edge of the cottage settlement Roviště - it is not a remote solitude - and is one of the favourite destinations of climbers and nature lovers. The location is an ideal starting point for a variety of activities: just a ten-minute walk from the property there are rock climbing routes and the Vltava River suitable for swimming, in the vicinity there are hiking trails and bike paths. The nearby pub in the Roviště campsite (currently out of operation) also offers pleasant facilities.

What to do?
electricity
- Electrical connection 20 m from the site. It is FREE for the purpose of charging mobile phones, laptops, lighting and other small loads. For the purpose of connecting motorhomes, use of large appliances, fridges, heating etc. it is FREE.

- Grey water can be poured on the land into the hillside behind the toilet.
Chemical toilet
- It is not possible to pour chemical toilet.
Access to the property may be difficult in rainy weather
Arrival to the settlement Roviště on the asphalt road, in the settlement further on the forest road. The road is grassy and sometimes bumpy, about 200m long. In the last 30 metres the road climbs to the campsite. Suitable for cars, vans and small motorhomes. Not suitable for large and long motorhomes.

Only start fires at your own risk and responsibility. Therefore, take extra care and follow the generally applicable rules. If the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute or other authority issues a FIRE BAN, DO NOT start a fire!
Generally, the campground is open from April 1 to October 31.
All visitors, please do not destroy vegetation around the campground and be respectful of nature. Whether it is a kid's game, cutting sticks for roasting or building anything.

A cascading and truly beautiful natural setting near a flooded quarry, nestled in the forest above the Vltava River.
Trees, birdsong, sun and shade, a place to sit, a fire pit, an outhouse, and a flat grassy area for parking without needing wheel chocks—it’s not completely secluded, but during our stay we didn’t run into anyone and nothing disturbed us.
The access road is an adventure in dry weather, but it’s manageable even for a rear-wheel-drive van—in heavy rain, getting there would likely be more difficult.
Our GPS had us drive past the correct turn and led us into the forest one street over, so once you pass a larger parking lot/rest area with trash cans on your left, take the first left turn uphill right after it—between two red posts. Alternatively, it’s better to study the route in advance. :)
We didn’t have much time or energy to explore the area more thoroughly, so we only saw the campground itself, an abandoned campsite, flooded quarries (both large and small), a few buildings—empty at the time—and a stretch of beautiful surrounding nature, where we had a wonderful rest after a night of partying in nearby Županovice. :)
If we’re passing by and availability allows, we’d love to use the site again to relax.

Nice campsite with bathhouse, tidy, clean and quiet. Fire ring with seating nicely set below the horizon, so even on a windy day we were in the lee. Driveway more suitable for a taller vehicle (rocks, roots). Otherwise I can recommend ✌️
God's place, swimming in the quarry, peace and quiet. What more could you ask for 👍
