A beautiful, peaceful spot on the outskirts of the village. A fire pit, a grill, a kitchenette with hot water for washing dishes... Just a short walk from the property, you can go swimming in the Metuje River. Amazing sunsets—and as a bonus, we even had a full moon. In the fields behind the property, you can see deer, hares... and sheep across the road. One night we even tried staying in the trailer, and the owner has really spruced it up—it’s luxurious! Great job 👍
If you’re looking for peace and quiet, you’ll definitely find it here. Just make sure it’s not harvest season!

We spent 4 nights here, and everything was great! A lovely garden setting, friendly owners, a kitchenette with a refrigerator, stove, and all the necessary equipment (dishes, kettle), and even coffee and tea for guests. The bathroom has a toilet and a shower. There’s a nice seating area in the garden.
You can also arrive with a camper van—you’ll need to arrange access via the side entrance.

A great place to relax in seclusion. Right next to the forest. A well-designed outdoor shower. I was there with my dogs, and we had plenty of privacy in the meadow next door.

It looks as simple in the photo as it is in real life—you just drive up, park, and stay; no complicated maneuvering required. Not far from there is a beautiful quarry where you can go for a swim, and the gas station carries more than just the standard gas station items. It’s quiet there in the evening, but in the morning the local roads can be a bit noisy—though nothing you can’t handle.

A beautiful place to camp. We were completely alone on the property, which made it even more enjoyable. Silence, nature, and lots of frogs in the ponds. The kids had the most fun with them 😉. We got along great with the owner. It’s definitely worth a visit.

A large plot of land with a view. The aforementioned liquid “welcome” and pancakes for breakfast didn’t happen, but only because of us. In the evening, we turned in early because of the weather, and in the morning—much to the landlady’s displeasure—we set off again. Otherwise, the landlady’s service is truly top-notch—and she treats everyone that way; there were four groups there with us, and all of them were “well taken care of.” The restroom is basic, but clean—a Toika. The shower is from a garden hose. The availability of cold drinks and a coffee maker is perfect. However, anyone who isn’t used to being around dogs might have a problem 😀. For us, this was made even more noticeable by the presence of our female dog, because the younger of the two dogs really took a liking to her 😀 But both dogs are incredibly gentle—there’s nothing to worry about!

Absolutely amazing property—I was here with my young kids and our dog, and it was truly ideal: a swing, toys, crayons, an outdoor tub (it was 38°C), a fire pit, a fireplace, and a little house to take shelter in during a storm. I highly recommend it—all ten fingers up! 🌈🍀💚

A beautiful spot, by the water, under the trees (perfect on hot days), very kid-friendly (swings, slides, soccer goals, a small playground, a boat available for rent), firewood available at the fire pit.... Even though there are quite a few people at the campground, everyone has plenty of space to themselves. I highly recommend it.

We really liked it—plenty of space, a toilet and shower inside, plus an outdoor shower. My husband appreciated the cold draft beer on the way. When we’re next in Čejkovice, we’ll definitely be back😊

Camping is not allowed in two sections of the property. The land is relatively flat, but you’ll need to use wedges. The entire property has been carefully cleared; it includes a modern plastic outhouse and a solar-powered shower. The owner is exceptionally accommodating, and it’s incredible what he’s managed to build on this extremely sloped plot and how much work he put into leveling the land. One part of the property offers a stunning view of the valley. He has a wonderful, friendly dog that greets each guest individually. Access may be a bit more challenging with a very large RV or trailer; in that case, it’s best to consult with the owner in advance. Otherwise, we highly recommend staying here.

A spacious, fenced-in garden (more like a meadow) with an old cabin, an outhouse, and a wooden stage with a cleverly crafted seating area made from pallets. The property was perfectly mowed, and communication with the owner went smoothly. The outhouse could use a bit more attention from the owner; the stage and seating area have seen better days, and it might be time to start thinking about renovations. It’s perfectly fine for an overnight stay, but we probably wouldn’t recommend it for a longer stay. The nearby railroad track is a bit of a nuisance, as local trains pass by fairly frequently, and especially the clanging railroad crossing. If a little noise doesn’t bother you, we’d recommend it; however, if you’re looking for absolute peace and quiet, you won’t find it here.

This is a very large plot of land—an orchard that is mostly sloped. If you don’t have wedges, you’ll only be able to camp on one flat spot on the property next to the barn. If you can level out the 60–80 mm slope (using wedges under the base boards), you can camp almost anywhere on the property, which is otherwise really nice. The entire property has been mowed perfectly. There’s an old farmhouse on the property, next to which is an outhouse, and in the adjacent shed there’s a spring—not very abundant, but with good, likely drinkable water. I’m probably mentioning this because the entire property is surrounded by pastures and fields, from which all sorts of things might flow in. There’s also a seating area with a fire pit on the property. The biggest drawback of the property is the outhouse, which is really subpar by today’s standards. It may have been standard 100 years ago, but times have changed—even when it comes to outhouses at campsites—and if the owner were to improve the outhouse, we’d definitely give it five stars. The property is truly at the end of the world, and we expected absolute peace and quiet. During our stay, there was a great deal of cattle in the pastures, which mooed so loudly that we’d never heard anything like it before (even though we’re from a village). We don’t know what caused it, but if it weren’t for that, it would truly be a balm for the nerves. However, this is something the property owner can’t control, so we’re just pointing it out.

It’s a great place because of its location in the heart of the Krkonoše Mountains and its elevation, which makes it an ideal starting point for hikes; the owner responds quickly. Unfortunately, I can’t rate it any higher—I didn’t use the services in Špindlerův Mlýn. I arrived after dark and tried to get some sleep right away before my sunrise hike, but I was surprised by how noisy it was late into the night—and that was on a weekday, not exactly a warm night.
If I’d been lucky enough to get a spot in the front row and there hadn’t been fog in the morning, I would have woken up to a beautiful view of the valley… that’s what makes it so unique.
