It was great! It was a fantastic experience to park right by the wine cellar, pour yourself a glass of wine, and soak up the atmosphere of this secluded wine cellar alley. The whole place has its own amazing genius loci, and the location is absolutely fantastic—everything is just a short walk away, and it’s ideal for cycling. We definitely recommend stopping by Bistro Starý Kopec for a meal.
Just a small heads-up for campers and those without fully soundproofed cars—there’s a rooster living nearby that starts doing exactly what roosters do around five in the morning. I definitely don’t mean this as a complaint; on the contrary, it’s just part of the charm of a little village like this, but it might wake some people up.
We wholeheartedly recommend it and will definitely be happy to come back here!
A beautiful place, an amazing wine cellar with hot running water and a toilet :) One heart deducted due to the difficult arrival and departure with a travel trailer, which has to be unhitched from the car.
It was absolutely wonderful—especially because it was so peaceful and such a beautiful place, even if it was just for one night. If we can, we'll come back for a longer stay.
