Where do the property ratings come from?
It’s a great place because of its location in the heart of the Krkonoše Mountains and its elevation, which makes it an ideal starting point for hikes; the owner responds quickly. Unfortunately, I can’t rate it any higher—I didn’t use the services in Špindlerův Mlýn. I arrived after dark and tried to get some sleep right away before my sunrise hike, but I was surprised by how noisy it was late into the night—and that was on a weekday, not exactly a warm night.
If I’d been lucky enough to get a spot in the front row and there hadn’t been fog in the morning, I would have woken up to a beautiful view of the valley… that’s what makes it so unique.

We met up with lots of other campers in the parking lot. The night was quiet, but it depends on how considerate people are toward one another and how well they get along.
A beautiful place, an ideal starting point for hiking. Parking is simply a lot at a prime location, but the Špindlerova Bouda hotel and its staff add significant value—from the gentleman at the front desk to the restaurant staff, everyone was friendly and did their utmost to accommodate guests. You can enjoy the on-site wellness center, excellent cuisine, or a great breakfast. Families with children, like us, will also appreciate the soccer/basketball court with its amazing view, as well as the selection of children’s meals. It’s one of the few places where kids really enjoy themselves. We’re looking forward to our next visit.

Parking lot at the hotel - it is not a classic BezKemp site, but this place is absolutely exceptional and we recommend a visit to every BezKemparian or BezKempar. The location in the heart of the Giant Mountains with an altitude of almost 1200m above sea level is unique in the entire BezKemp offer. Amazing views and beautiful hikes whether to Sněžka or Sněžné jámy or the source of the Elbe. It is easy to get back by bus from Špindlerův mlýn.
