Wool Farm - fall asleep where the llamas and sheep say goodnight #3289

Farma na vlně is a little corner of the world where life moves at a slower pace.

An open area with a shelter for sitting connects directly to the pen and stable of our llama boys. We raise them for their wool and are gradually teaching them to go for walks—by prior arrangement, you can join them and take a llama for a walk on a lead.

The place is slightly overgrown, surrounded by greenery that creates natural privacy. We practice organic farming and strive to keep the farm as harmonious as possible with the surrounding landscape; we’re gradually turning it into a landscape orchard.

It’s good to know that it’s not completely silent here—a railroad track heading toward Vienna runs nearby, so a train passes by from time to time (a surprisingly pleasant sound into the night for some).
At the back of the property, you’ll find sheep—unlike the quiet llamas, they’ll often greet you from a distance with their loud bleating.

And since we’re close to the Soutok Protected Landscape Area and the Dyje River, mosquitoes may appear after it rains—that’s just part of this region.

The facilities are simple but functional:
there’s an outhouse hidden among the greenery, a well with utility water, and upon request, we’ll be happy to fill a canister with drinking water for you.

When you arrive, try just sitting for a moment and doing nothing.
