Since our last visit, a swing has been added; the kids were thrilled.
This place should really be called “down the hill by the road” or “theater on a slope”
The spot is right next to the road, and the meadow itself slopes gently downhill, so the vast majority of people driving by just stare—it’s not uncommon for them to slow down and roll down their windows. The absence of any taller vegetation—if I overlook a few freshly planted saplings—or any barriers gives onlookers a clear view of absolutely, absolutely everything (like when you’re just coming out of the outhouse, what you’re eating for dinner, etc..) For me, it’s an unpleasant feeling every time a car drives by. And even if you try not to look, you know—you can feel—that it’s different inside the cars. Even a slight slope is bad news for tents; at night, gravity makes itself known, and with any movement, you slide downhill. Thank goodness there isn’t much traffic at night, so the cars don’t disturb you. Among the positives are the aforementioned outhouse, a shelter with seating—nicely equipped—skewers for roasting sausages, an axe, and a few other practical items as well. In front of the seating area is a fire pit with benches (also on a slight slope).
In my opinion, the place definitely has a lot to offer in terms of beautiful nature and views; I also have to highlight the “thousand-star hotel” at night, but a few details still need to be ironed out so that people can truly enjoy it in PEACE....
This was our second visit, and we'd love to come back again. Ms. Eliška is very pleasant and takes excellent care of the place. The place has a beautiful view.
