Your property borders an inhabited farmstead, whose land covers an area of 2.5 hectares. We raise sheep, goats, horses, and a pony on the property; there’s a small beekeeping operation, and two dogs roam the grounds. The site is about 100 meters from the farmstead and offers a peaceful retreat. It’s the ideal spot for your hiking or biking trips. The surrounding area features many historical sites, bike trails, hiking trails, and destinations (Rožmberk, Vyšší Brod, the Lipno region). The property is bordered by pine and mixed forests, so blueberry and mushroom lovers will find plenty to enjoy during the season. The Jílovecký Stream flows around the property, ending in the foothills of Rožmberk Castle and culminating in natural waterfalls. The stream offers a pleasant way to cool off in the summer. The site is adjacent to our other location.
The small town of Rožmberk is only 2.5 km away and offers a wide range of activities—visiting the castle, cycling, and hiking. During the summer months, we’ll be happy to arrange for you to rent a boat or raft to go down the river.
By arrangement, you can tour a small beekeeping farm and purchase honey.

The bridge is finally repaired, and passable for wider cars. Longer cars may have a problem entering the meadow, though.
