You’ll find the meadow behind the village of Žďárky, a short distance from the town of Hronov, which serves as the gateway to this fairy-tale region. Nearby, you can visit the former Vilemína mine, where you can find fossilized horsetail imprints and, if you’re lucky, even a trilobite. In the village, you can grab a bite to eat at the local pub or shop at the convenience store (about 1 km away).
In Poland, just a stone’s throw away, you can visit the village of Pstražna, home to a folk open-air museum and a museum, with a cozy restaurant right next door where you can have the trout you’ve caught prepared for you on the spot. Also worth seeing in Poland are the Kudowa-Zdrój spa, the Bor Table Mountain, and Malá and Velká Hejšovina.
If you venture further along the Broumov Promontory, the nearby Teplice-Adršpach Rocks and the Broumov Walls await you, along with much more.
A new bike path has been built next to the property, which also serves as the access road to the campsite. You can see everything in the photos, including the entrance to the property.

What to do?
Greywater (shower, washing)
- At the edge of the property into the grove provided the use of eco resources!
Chemical toilet
- It is NOT allowed to spill on the property or elsewhere in the community.
Access to the property may be difficult in rainy weather
The access road is a paved bike path.
cycling
The meadow is located in the immediate vicinity of the cycle paths. For example, to Pstružný, to Velká and Malá Hejšovina, to the spa Kudowa Zdroj, to Hronov or via Vysoká Srbská to Machov.
water sports
Public swimming pool in Náchod or in Police nad Metují. Alternatively, the nearby Rozkoš dam.
hiking
The place is perfect for hiking. There are dozens of hiking trails in the area. We recommend, for example, the Hřebenovka trail to Machov to the Lidman family for goulash. ;-)
Other activities
The first week of August is the legendary Jirásek Hronov amateur theatre festival.
We like clean and tidy and we believe you will too. We wish for decent, camping-free people who wouldn't think of leaving a piece of paper lying around. "It hurts nature! "Please observe the night-time peace after 10 p.m. Please clean up after your pets on the grassy area. Foxes have taken refuge in the area, please keep your dogs on a leash if they are natural born hunters. ;-)
