A piece of paradise in paradise. A fenced garden, meadow and orchard of 4000 m2 with mature trees with shady shelter possibilities, on a southern slope near the danča game preserve. It is by a minor road with moderate traffic. It is sloping, with a few flat parts of the surface suitable for camping. The site has two fire rings, a barbecue of two blocks and a grate, pallet seating and a swing with a view of the Trosky.
The site is strategically located both for short walks (less than 1 km to the town and the forest) and for long trips in the Bohemian Paradise. It is located right next to the blue hiking trail leading to the Svatopluk Čech lookout point, which is part of the Borecké skály natural monument. It is perfectly situated for hiking or cycling (Trosky 5 km, Hrubá Skála 6 km, Valdštejn 10 km, virtually the whole Bohemian Paradise within easy reach by bike). In the town of Rovensko pod Troskami you can visit a wooden bell tower from 1630 (a tourist landmark). A short walk from the bell tower we recommend a visit to the Dvorek na Týně (an excellent pub with its own microbrewery), on the blue further on the square there is an excellent pastry shop.
There is space for 2 bookings on the property, but in the case of a larger group there is no problem to use it for more crews.

Access to the property may be difficult in rainy weather
In bad weather, passability may be more difficult. The exit from the 3rd class road is with a break, behind a large lime tree onto a dirt road. Even large caravans can manage it without a scratch, see photo (7.3m). Longer caravans, on the other hand, are not recommended.

The 4172 Turnov - Lomnice nad Popelkou cycle route runs directly around the property. In the surroundings there is a dense network of cycle paths with attractive destinations (Hrubá Skála, Valdštejn, Trosky, Sedmihorky, Kozákov and others... An excellent starting point for cycling in the Bohemian Paradise.

700 m on foot from the property are the Borecké rocks with a trail around the dančí obora. The Svatopluk Čech lookout point and the nearby rock formation of Želva are worth a visit.
The blue trail leads 4.7 km to Trosky Castle. The blue trail leads through the village of Borek with the Motomuzeum (motomuzeumborek.cz) and the railway station, from where the train to Hruba Skala, Sedmihorky and Turnov runs.
200 m from the property along the road is the hangman's pond. 750 m from the property is the bell tower with inverted bells from 1630.

We would like to inform dog owners that there are four huskies living about 400 meters from the property; they do not run around freely but do guard their territory. Our property is fenced, so there’s no risk of them running off, but you must keep your dogs under control when near the property.
Please report any issues you find upon arrival at the property (trash, pet waste); we are not able to be on the property every day, but we will do our best to address these reported issues “ASAP” :-)

A beautiful place where it's completely peaceful and offers a stunning view of Trosky. You can tell that the owners take good care of the property.
A great spot with a beautiful view. We really enjoyed the forest, which welcomed us with blueberries and cranberries. The evening dance in the game reserve was amazing. We were all alone on the property, which was a huge plus for us. There was plenty of firewood, a water jug, and we were pleasantly surprised to find toilet paper in the outhouse. The only thing that bothered us a little was the path to TROSKY, which, although it followed the blue trail, wound through the bends along the road and is definitely not suitable for a stroller (though that’s not the owner’s fault). It’s better to head to Rovensko by going around the game reserve and taking the field path to the left, rather than following the road as indicated on the sign.
A really nice place—everything was great. A beautiful view of Trosky.
A truly beautiful place—not only with an amazing view, but also with lovely surroundings. What an oasis of peace it would have been if we hadn’t been woken up at 5 a.m. by 30 minutes of heavy farm equipment traffic on the adjacent road. Otherwise, the grass was perfectly mowed and everything was well-prepared. It’s nice that the large orchard is fenced in.

Klidný a tichý pozemek s krásným výhledem na Trosky (okolní silnice ruší jen minimálně). Pozemek nám sloužil jako výborná základna pro cyklovýlety po okolí ( Podtrosecká údolí , Trosky, Hrubá Skála, Valdštejn - velmi příjemný okruh). Pro ty co zde budou poprvé určitě doporučíme zvonici v Rovensku i místní cukrárnu na náměstí. Samotný pozemek udržovaný, postupně upravovaný. Bezkemp tak jak má být.
