Where do the property ratings come from?
The facilities are very good. The owners only speak german but we made it work. We went for a lovely hack with their horses in the morning, which was a great start of the day.
We really enjoyed our stay here. Being so close to the animals was a very enriching and calming experience for us. The owner really does speak only German, but that wasn’t a problem at all. The bathrooms were clean, and there was hot water in the shower. It was wonderful. The guest facilities—the kitchenette and seating area—were also very nicely done. They have two female dogs who always came to check on our dog. Everything went beautifully and smoothly. The surroundings are gorgeous for walks and biking.
This place was absolutely special to me. From the first moment I felt peace, harmony and a kind of natural slowing down that is hard to find today. Being surrounded by animals was extremely recharging for me. Their presence had a calming yet refreshing energy.
The whole environment felt very authentic and human to me. Everything was in balance, from the background to the surrounding nature to the atmosphere, which cannot be fully described but rather felt. The surrounding woods, the silence and the space to yourself created a place where one can truly be.
I also really appreciated the attitude of the owners who were helpful, kind and you could tell they were doing it with their hearts. Overall, I was so impressed with this place that I left feeling grateful, calm and re-energized. It's exactly the kind of space you want to come back to.
