A beautiful and peaceful place with a stunning view of the countryside.
The owner was very kind, and communicating with him was great. He even opened the brewery for us outside of regular hours so we could enjoy some local beer while taking in the view—we’re very grateful for that.
The only minor downside was that, every day during our stay, a car with a group of young people would pull up to the meadow several times and play loud music. Fortunately, they always left around 9:00 p.m., and after that it was completely quiet.
Overall, we were very satisfied and definitely recommend this place.
It’s a beautiful spot, but don’t expect any peace and quiet there… Unfortunately, a combine harvester was cutting grass in the evening, and again this morning. What’s worse, though, is that all sorts of people are constantly showing up—for example, to take in the view, play with their kids in the meadow, or just park right next to you… That can be a distraction, especially when you’re taking care of personal hygiene. The owner’s property isn’t fenced off or marked in any way, so it gives others the impression that someone has just pitched a tent there illegally. A small sign from bezkempu.cz would be enough to define the rented area.
Getting there is no problem at all; the only issue might be if the road is very wet. Otherwise, any size of car can make it up there. The spot itself offers a beautiful view and nice facilities, including a fire pit, it’s just a shame that, because there’s a designated takeoff area for paragliders and an airport flag, the place feels like a public space—so besides paragliders, people also come here just for the view (and listening to local teenagers chat for an hour isn’t exactly fun). Given the steep hills, it’s not ideal for an amateur cycling trip.
