A unique location, an unforgettable atmosphere. The sanatorium’s grounds make you wonder how many times our society has changed over the past hundred years. Someone built this magnificent building with the intention of helping children, and the current owner has been fighting—so far in vain—for a dignified restoration of the site. In the meantime, we’re camping in the garden and going to the bathroom in the ransacked house. Back to the description—it’s ideal for camping. As many have noted, it’s quite busy here; we’re including a photo so you won’t be disappointed. Some rooms in the sanatorium are also available for rent, but even the foreigners on the balcony quieted down before midnight. For us, the place was peaceful, and the kids liked it even more than their favorite campground. Go there before a luxury resort—which belongs here—is built.
A lovely place with an old-world atmosphere. It’s very interesting to walk through the exhibition on the history of the building and the grounds. The showers have hot water and plenty of it, and you can charge your cell phone inside the building. The location is ideal, right on the route to the lookout points.
Just be careful with your shoes and don’t leave them outside—one morning, three of our shoes disappeared (one from each pair), and we later found them in the woods behind the grounds. There was another slipper lying in a ditch along the way, so maybe it was just some fox having a little fun.😅

The place is amazing mainly because of its location. Everything is within easy reach. The building and its facilities are a bonus that we ended up taking advantage of as well. We’re not fans of the hotel complex project, but oh well. Enjoy the place while it still has that beautiful retro atmosphere.
