Where do the property ratings come from?
Great place - cobydup in Kutná Hora and behind the fence the castle Kačina. The land is well maintained, the caravan for two is fine and the road is not very noticeable except for a few motorbikes. We liked it.
The land has served its purpose. We had a place to lay our heads, the kids had a run. Nice facilities under the willow tree (swing, 2x socket). Nicely mowed. Caddy also ok. Drinking water ready in a canister. Thermo box with ice available. Arrangement with owners ok.
- Dirty, spotty sheets full of black hair, elastic under the pillow. I'm not a stickler for vermin and all that goes with being in the outdoors, but these bodily remains of strangers bother me intensely. Just because something is retro doesn't mean it can't be clean (even if it's free). So I recommend your own bedding. We had and used those for the sychr. We didn't cook inside, but if we wanted to, we'd have to get rid of the buildup of cobwebs, dust, and dead flies hiding under the stove top first. We were probably the first campfire-free people in this place after "hibernation". So we need to work on cleanliness, or rather just rent without equipment ( dishes, bedding) and eliminate friction surfaces. 🙂
Road noisier, but that's subjective (we normally live almost in the woods).
Overall impression was ok. The kids, and us, were fine there. Thank you.
Well situated place, by car you are one in two in Kutná Hora and a nice walk takes you to the park and the castle Kačina. Sometimes fighter jets flew by, but we knew that. The road was not so noisy ( I know worse ), at night it was quiet. We liked it.
