We were completely satisfied—both with the property, where we enjoyed peace and quiet even though it rained… and with the owner’s hospitality, which was exceptional. Thank you for that 😉 And the hot tub was great—we’ll definitely come back sometime 😊 We can definitely recommend it.
Great spot, peaceful location—there were always just two groups on the huge property, so we had plenty of privacy and peace and quiet. The sheep always came by in the evening, and watching them graze around the tent at night was a real treat :) The guys really appreciated the soccer goals and the chance to use the hot tub in the evening. The property is well-maintained—the grass is kept short thanks to the sheep; those of a more delicate nature should be prepared for sheep droppings (it didn’t bother us)—there’s water, electricity, and a portable toilet on the property...
The owner is very helpful and accommodating; nothing is a problem. The campground is part of the village but set aside—it’s not near the train tracks or a bus stop, so even after the owner assured us he’d “keep an eye on things” and mentioned that he himself leaves his cars unlocked, etc., we felt comfortable leaving our gear in the tent when we went on trips around the area.
There’s a pond right across the road—the entrance is within 50 meters, and as a bonus, you can borrow a paddleboard for free (we even had our own...), and the water is clean.
The surrounding area offers plenty of opportunities for biking and hiking, as well as family outings to see animals, visit castles, explore the amazing Kočkovitéšelmy.cz, and much more.

But I don’t think this was our last time here❣️ Darkness at night, stars everywhere, and the Perseids… And Novoveský Pond right across the road? An absolute blast for us, especially in this heat😍. Swimming in the morning, at noon, in the afternoon, and in the evening at sunset… paddleboards available to rent… simply paradise.
Thank you to the owner for letting people like us “chill out” at this magical place, where—for the first time this year—I felt like I was truly relaxing and didn’t have to do a thing. Thank you ❤️👍🏻🐏
