A nice, quiet base for day trips through the tourist-friendly area of the Czech-German border region, located along the Labské pískovce forest trail. Facilities include a simple rain shelter with seating and a barrel of drinking water; there is a working restroom at the edge of the property.
Paid parking at Hraniční bouda (50 CZK/day) is just a few steps from the meadow.
We visited the property with a group for our annual camping trip. The place is a camping ground with one small wooden hut. There was a barrel for drinking water (which unfortunately was empty) and a bench with a table. Sadly, it rained a lot, and our sleeping equipment was not strong enough to handle the wind and rain. This meant we had to come up with a new plan because there was not enough space in the hut for our whole group to sleep somewhere dry. But it's still a lovely place and perfect for regular camping.
Great camping spot, very quiet, with useful facilities. We had the place to ourselves despite being there during first half of August. Beware the campsite is not car accessible, you can't park there or on the side of the road, and there's no public parking nearby; we kindly asked the Penzion Hraniční Bouda if we could leave our car at their parking, but you shouldn't take it for granted.
