Welcome to Hofiplac—a fenced-in, private hectare-sized property on the outskirts of the village of Cholina near Olomouc.
Here, you can take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city—whether you arrive in a RV, on a motorcycle, or just pack light and pitch a tent. The grounds are designed for adventurers, couples, and small groups of friends seeking tranquility, freedom, or a convenient base camp for exploring the surrounding area—and, above all, privacy.
The grounds are situated on a gentle slope, which can make access difficult in the rain. If you’re traveling with a RV, we recommend taking into account potential difficulties with the access road in the event of heavy rain. Upon arrival, we’ll send you the code to unlock the gate, or we’ll meet you in person. To ensure comfort and privacy, Hofiplac’s capacity is currently limited to two groups. However, we can increase this capacity based on your needs upon individual arrangement.

Access to the property may be difficult in rainy weather
If you have a caravan, motorhome we recommend to take into account the possible difficulties with the access dirt road 200m in case of heavy rain (the tax for solitude:). The land is on a slight slope, which can be a problem with access, departure in heavy rain. Personally we have a 4x4 and this is no problem. In case of emergency there is the possibility of pulling out with a tractor. There are several options...
Restriction of the access road
The narrowest point is next to the pine tree at the gate access to the plot approx 3.5m width of the gate to the entrance to the plot is 4m. The height of the pine branches from the road is approx 4m the tractor digger will pass without difficulty :)

The village of Cholina passes through the cycle route No. 6033 thanks to which you can go on trips around the nearby or distant surroundings depending on what you feel like on a given day.

There is a Coop store in the village. Upon request, you can arrange a shooting experience at the local shooting range. The Cholina pub has an outdoor seating area, serves excellent food, and offers guests a 10% discount on their total bill. There is also a post office, The Cholina Museum is open only on weekdays; a private collection of pencil sharpeners—by appointment—features over 2,000 items; at the Cholina Shooting Range, you can shoot your legally owned firearms by appointment.

Upon arrival, you will receive the code for the gate lock. Since we are not on the property 24/7, please take a look around and walk through the property; if you are not satisfied with anything or have any concerns about the cleanliness of the property, please contact us immediately.
1. Quiet Hours After 10:00 PM
- Please respect the quiet hours so we can maintain a pleasant atmosphere for everyone.
2. Fires and Barbecues
- Open fires are permitted only in the designated area (fire pit) or in a portable fire pit. You may bring your own firewood and barbecue briquettes, or arrange with us to use the pre-cut firewood provided.
3. Keeping the Premises Clean
- We strive to keep the premises as clean as possible. To ensure clean restrooms and minimize our impact on the environment, please DO NOT flush wet wipes down the toilet (they do not break down). Please clean up after yourselves, especially around the fire pit and picnic tables if you use them (particularly potato chip bags, pistachio shells, food scraps, etc.). We now have a brown compost bin on the property for organic waste.
4. Pets
- Your four-legged friends are welcome, but please keep them under control out of consideration for other guests. Deer, hares, and pheasants roam the area. Please pick up any droppings in the open, mowed areas and toss them into the tall grass. No one wants to find a “fragrant gift” in their car or on their child.
5. Safety
- The property is fenced and partially monitored by a camera system for your safety and ours.
6. Responsibility for Children
- Children can enjoy freedom of movement and nature here—but the property is large and contains natural and man-made obstacles.
7. Visitors
Visitors are permitted only by prior arrangement to ensure that the space remains comfortable for all guests.
8. For exclusive bookings, a minimum stay of 2 nights is required (I want to be alone on the property).

A great place to unwind, rest, and relax. A luxurious shower, a sensor-activated toilet (no need to worry if you forget your headlamp), plenty of space, a pool, a fire pit, and a grill. And the best part is the owner—he’s very friendly, easy to work with, and is gradually improving the campsite with lots of little touches that make your stay incredibly pleasant—shelves in the shower, a mirror by the sink, a wood shed, a gazebo, water for washing your hands near the fire pit...
It's no wonder this place has such high ratings. It's really great here. And the host is very nice and helpful with everything. It was our first time camping, and it definitely won't be our last. 😉
We’ll be happy to return to this property. Here’s why:
1. The meadow itself is surrounded by stunning scenery.
2. The owner is a wonderful person who did his best to make the property as comfortable as possible.
And whenever there was a problem, he tried to solve it or help us find a solution.
3. From my perspective, the property is situated right in the middle of everything. It’s equally close for trips by car or bike.
4. Saving the best for last: absolute peace and quiet—we had a wonderful rest and cleared our heads.

A beautiful plot on the outskirts of the village, nicely maintained, with a great outdoor shower; everything you need for camping is available—and a pool as a bonus. The owner was very accommodating in every way; we’d love to come back. I recommend the pub in the village—great food, a playground, and a helpful owner and staff.
The place is perfect; there are definitely a few things that could be improved, and you can tell right away how close it is to nature by the abundance of ants and earwigs. We’ll definitely visit again.
