The cabins are located on the ridge of the Rovná Hora mountain pass at an elevation of 781 meters above sea level.
Rovná Hora is an important destination for hikers and cyclists, as it connects several hiking and biking trails. The pass is also a well-known starting point for ascents to nearby peaks, such as Pupov, Veľký and Malý Rozsutec, and, last but not least, to Jánošík’s Caves with their attractive marked hiking trails, footbridges, ladders, and chains.
Just a few steps from the property is a stylish mountain hut with a restaurant serving mostly traditional dishes and, of course, the best halušky.
Right inside the koliba, there’s also a shop where you’ll find homemade smoked meats and cheese products from all over the world.
Are you curious about how cheese, string cheese, korbáčiky, or parenica are made? Here, you’ll not only see the process, but you can even try your hand at it yourself in our demonstration workshop.

The driveway is mostly gravel on a slight incline, after entering the property mostly grassy area on a very slight incline.

The driveway is 3.5m wide at its narrowest point.

There are several cycling routes in the vicinity of Camp Syrex, but as we are in a mountainous area, we have to take into account the higher difficulty of the terrain.

Zázrivá and its surroundings offer you many possibilities for a hike, a walk, but also a proper hike with breathtaking views.

Kemp Syrex sa nachádza v rezorte Salaš Syrex ktorého súčasťou je aj Farma Bačikovo ktorá je cca 300m od kempu, návštevníci kempu majú vstup na farmu zadarmo.

A magical place with stunning views. Just a stone's throw from Malá Fatra. We'll definitely come back with the kids.
A beautiful, peaceful spot with a fantastic view. The grounds are undulating, but there are several places where you can park completely level without needing wheel chocks. Water, electricity, a hot-water shower, and a restroom—everything is clean and in perfect condition. Various seating areas, benches, and a fire pit. A perfect stainless-steel slide leads straight to an excellent restaurant with friendly service.
