Are you looking for a true oasis of peace, unspoiled nature, and complete privacy?
We’re offering for rent a well-maintained, fully fenced plot of land covering 1,882 m² in the picturesque village of Planiny, in the heart of the Brdy Protected Landscape Area. We only accept one reservation at a time for this property, so you’ll have the entire place to yourself. However, if you’d like to come with friends (multiple cars or tents from the same group), the large size of the property makes this easily possible.
Right in front of the property is a beautiful natural pond, ideal for swimming, even for small children—the bottom is paved about halfway down, and the water is shallow there. If you prefer larger bodies of water, just a short distance away you’ll find the beautiful, large natural Drahota Pond in the middle of the woods, as well as many other swimming options, including traditional public swimming areas in nearby towns.
The location is perfect for families with children, cyclists, hikers, anglers, and animal lovers. Dogs and cats are warmly welcome here! Since the entire property is securely fenced, your four-legged friends can run around freely and stress-free.
Electricity and Water:
Electricity: An electrical connection with a 16 A circuit breaker is available. On the utility pole, you’ll find 1 x 400 V outlet and 2 x 230 V outlets. Billing is based on actual consumption at the end of your stay.
Water: There is a private well on the property. If needed, we’ll be happy to lend you a pump with a hose, or you can use a bucket to fetch water. We do not charge guests for water, but we kindly ask that you use it sparingly.
Amenities and extras on the property:
Fire pit: A ready-to-use fire pit with seating for peaceful and romantic evenings under the stars.
Orchard: All kinds of fruit trees grow on the property. If you arrive during harvest season, we’d love for you to sample some fruit from our orchard!
Recreation in the village: A short distance from the property is a village sports field for ball games.
Shower and washroom: There is no shower or washroom available on the property.
Greywater: Greywater may only be disposed of at the designated spot on the property, specifically into the drain on the right-hand side near the entrance gate. The use of eco-friendly, organic products is required.
Dry Toilets: Wooden dry toilets (outhouses) are located near the village sports field, approximately 200 meters from the property (about a 2–3-minute walk).
Chemical Toilets: There is no sewer system or wastewater treatment plant on the property. It is NOT POSSIBLE to empty chemical toilets here.
Trash: You may not leave trash on the property. Please take all your trash with you to help us keep this oasis clean.
From the municipal road, turn directly onto our paved access road. The access road is well-paved, so it can easily handle inclement weather and heavy rain—you don’t have to worry about getting stuck in the mud. This paved road leads about one-third of the way onto the property.The entire access road and the property itself are completely flat, making parking and maneuvering very convenient. Also suitable for large RVs: The property is spacious and accessible enough that even large RVs can fit here easily and turn around safely.Entrance width: The entrance gate is 410 cm wide, which is the narrowest point on the entire property. This means you can drive through comfortably and stress-free, even with a large RV. The gate will soon be equipped with a code lock.
No matter which direction you head, the Brdy Protected Landscape Area offers beautiful nature and a wealth of sports activities in every season:
Sports and Games: You can play standard ball games right on our property. If you’re looking for other sports activities, the nearby towns of Nové Mitrovice and Spálené Poříčí offer excellent facilities for tennis, footvolley, and soccer. For golf enthusiasts, Golf v Hořehledech is a great choice, featuring a high-quality 9-hole course.
Fun and Playgrounds for Kids: In addition to swimming in the pond right in the village, you can take your children to the well-maintained playgrounds in the immediate vicinity—you’ll find them in Nové Mitrovice, Borovno, or Spálené Poříčí.
Winter sports: In winter, the area around Planiny is absolutely ideal for cross-country skiing. The snow-covered Brdy forests offer beautiful cross-country trails right around the corner.
Hiking: You can go on hiking trips in literally every direction, and just like with cycling, you’ll be walking completely off the main roads. We recommend the route to Hořehled through a picturesque nature reserve, a hike to the Planinský Bůrek transmitter (the highest point in the area), or a trip to the famous Padrťské ponds. The local landscape is beautiful and unspoiled, so wherever you go, you’ll be satisfied.
Swimming and Water: A natural pond right in front of the gate (ideal for children thanks to its shallow waters and solid bottom). The beautiful, large Drahota natural pond, hidden in the woods (3 km). There are also plenty of other natural areas and well-maintained municipal swimming areas nearby.
A fisherman’s paradise: If you have a fishing license (valid throughout the Czech Republic), you’ll find plenty of great ponds and fishing areas suitable for fishing in the Planiny area.
A cyclist’s paradise: Bike trails lead in all directions. All routes run mainly through forests and away from roads, making them ideal for safe outings with children.

The Kokšín Nature Reserve and Žofinčina studánka with its painted trail (1 km).The active Mítov quarry with a view and castle ruins (4 km). The famous Míšov barbecue spot (4 km). The Železný Újezd observation tower with a view all the way to the Alps (5 km). The Nechánice lookout point (6 km).The forests around Planiny are full of mushrooms and blueberries during the season.

Nové Mitrovice (3 km): A store and a pub (open during the season; a bus runs there from Planiny).Spálené Poříčí (6 km): Full range of amenities, including an ATM. Larger towns (20–35 km): Plzeň, Rokycany, Nepomuk, Příbram.
