Unfortunately, the site really disappointed us. The grounds were very unkempt, the grass wasn’t mowed, and on top of that, it was full of chicken and horse droppings. In our opinion, it’s completely unsuitable for camping, and getting there with a travel trailer is also quite complicated. I definitely recommend bringing leveling chocks with you. It’s all the more disappointing because the area around Karlštejn is beautiful, but this site ruined our overall impression, so we decided to leave after a short while. It’s a shame, because the place definitely has potential, but it would need a lot of work.
